Study your Bits, Bytes and Binary Handout.
You will NOT need to know the actual binary code. You WILL need to know:
- How many switches/transistors are in a bit?
- How many switches/transistors are in a byte?
- What code does the ON and OFF switches/transistor produce?
- You will need to know the UNITS of MEASURE for COMPUTER STORAGE.
-Kilobytes, Megabytes, gigabytes, Terabytes.
- You will need to know their abbreviation and the Appx Value. (not the actual)
